The animation packed full of character and there’s a wonderfully anarchic tint to the proceedings that Wario would be proud of. It’s a great game, with a delightfully weird premise and levels filled with collectables and secrets to discover. You can also transform into different forms, such as a knight, a ball and a bomb which can be useful in certain situations too. You’re quite formidable fighter though, with lots of comically animated bites, kicks and punches, as well as an ability to roll and charge at enemies. The current build of the game was created especially for the SAGE Expo, and sees the portly pizza chef visiting an event hosted by “Snick the Porcupine”, which features three large levels, packed full of weird enemies to dispatch and secrets to discover.Īs you make your way through the levels you’ll fight cheeseslimes, forknights, pizza box goblins, peperoni goblins, pencer, winged anchovies and pizzards (pizza wizards). In Pizza Tower you take control of Peppino Spaghetti, a pizza parlour owner who bears more than a passing resemblance to Wario.

Pizza Tower is a beautifully animated and wonderfully wacky 2D platforming adventure inspired by the Wario Land series, where you are a pizza chef who collects ingredients, delivers pizzas and destroys evil towers.
